i sometime go on in the evening but normally its before everyone else has had a chance to post after my IT lesson so its a bit pointless, theres nothing new to read
and i don't have a teacher in IT, so i can't get caught, and i don't have any work at the moment so i have nothing better to do

No, but if you look down the bottom, it says:

(bottom of index page) wrote:

See, the number of guests adds to the number of "users" online. If you're logged on and actually part of the forum, you get put under "Registered" or "Hidden", depending on your settings, but not as "Guests". And when i first go onto the forum, before I'm logged in, I'm counted as one of the guests. And when I log in, the number of guests decreases by one and the number of registered users goes up by one and my username appears below that.

So, unless heaps of hidden/registered users came on at 1:12am on Wednesday morning/Tuesday night, that means that there were about 16 guests online. And, unfortunately, given the forum's current stage, it's highly unlikely that there were 17 people logged in at that time.
